<I>Artanis</I>

NB Artanis is a 9.1 metre all-steel cruiser style narrowboat, built by Coalcraft in 1978 and powered by a Lister SR2 engine .

Originally named KathII, Artanis worked as a hire boat on the River Wey and was transferred to High Line Yachting on the Grand Union canal by the brokers Virginia Currer Marine where I first encountered her in December, 1999.
